Pan-Roasted Halibut over Rotini

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups uncooked rainbow rotini pasta (8 oz)
  • 4 halibut fillets, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick (4 oz each), skin removed
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

    Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.

    Meanwhile, sprinkle both sides of halibut with salt and pepper. Heat 10-inch nonstick skillet over high heat. Immediately place fish in skillet; cook 1 minute or until golden brown.

    Turn fish; reduce heat to medium. Add 1/3 cup water; cover and cook 5 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve fish over pasta.
