Warm Beef and Veggie Salad with Sesame Dressing

Ingredients
Dressing
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, if desired
Salad
- 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin steak (3/4 inch thick)
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 (1-lb.) bag frozen broccoli, carrots and water chestnuts
- 4 cups shredded Chinese (napa) cabbage or lettuce
Garnish
- 2 tablespoons sesame seed, toasted*
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
Instructions

Step1In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients; blend well.

Step2Sprinkle steak with garlic salt. Place on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 12 to 16 minutes or until of desired doneness, turning once.

Step3Meanwhile, prepare frozen vegetables according to package directions; drain. Line large serving platter with cabbage.

Step4Cut steak diagonally into 2x1/4-inch slices. In large bowl, combine steak and vegetables. Pour dressing over steak and vegetables; toss to combine. Spoon mixture over cabbage; sprinkle with sesame seed and onions.
