Slow cooked sauerkraut with cheese and beef makes a perfect appetizer for this Halloween - served with crunchy crackers or pretzel rods.

Slow-Cooker Reuben Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained, finely chopped
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced cooked corned beef (from deli), coarsely chopped
  • Crackers or pumpernickel pretzel rods, if desired

Instructions

  • Step

    Spray 2 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, stir all ingredients except crackers or pretzel rods until well mixed. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours.

    Stir well before serving. Serve dip warm with crackers or pretzel rods.
