Instructions

  • Step
    1
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef, onion and bell pepper over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink; drain.
  • Step
    2
Stir corn, green chiles, taco seasoning mix and water into beef mixture in skillet. Heat to simmering over medium heat. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Spoon into baking dish. Top beef mixture with 1/2 cup of the cheese.
  • Step
    3
Unroll dough; separate into two 6x4-inch rectangles. Place one rectangle next to the other to create a 6x8-inch rectangle. Press seams together and press out to create an 8-inch square.
  • Step
    4
Place dough in baking dish on top of cheese layer, and tuck in edges. Top with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake 16 to 20 minutes or until deep golden brown and crescent is baked through.
