Ingredients
- 1/2 lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon maple-flavored syrup or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 whole-wheat burger buns, split

Step1In 8-inch nonstick skillet, cook ground beef, bell pepper, onion and garlic powder over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked and vegetables are tender; drain.
