Spiced Glazed Walnuts

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 cups walnut halves
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 325°F. Line 17x12-inch halfsheet pan with cooking parchment paper.

Step2In large bowl, mix sugar, honey, salt, red pepper and chili powder (mixture will be thick). Add walnuts; stir to coat well. Spread mixture in single layer in pan.

Step3Bake 15 minutes, stirring once, until toasted. Turn oven off. Stir; let mixture remain in oven 15 minutes (do not stir). Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 30 minutes. Break mixture apart. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
