A contact grill turns out steaks seasoned with a peppery blend in just 10 minutes.

Pepper-Garlic Strip Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 2 boneless beef top loin steaks (New York, Kansas City or strip steaks)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black and red pepper blend

Instructions

  • Step

    Heat closed contact grill 5 minutes. In small bowl, mix butter, mustard and chives; set aside.
  • Step

    When grill is heated, sprinkle both sides of steaks with garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper blend; place on bottom grill surface. Close grill; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until of desired doneness. Top steaks with butter mixture.
