Easy Cheesy Topped Burgers

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (10 oz)
- 1/2 cup chopped packaged precooked bacon (about 8 slices)
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 teaspoons red pepper sauce, if desired
- 12 frozen ground beef patties (3 lb)
- Bread or hamburger buns, if desired

Step1Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix all ingredients except patties.

Step2When grill is heated, place frozen patties on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 4 to 8 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F.

Step3Carefully top each patty with about 1/4 cup cheese mixture; cook covered 4 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve on bread.
