Take advantage of chile season with this Hatch Chile Poppers recipe. It's a heat-filled, crescent-wrapped spin on jalapeño poppers, filled with a light and brightly-flavored chive and onion cream cheese spread that can stand up to the natural fire of the prized Hatch chile peppers.

    Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. Separate dough into 8 triangles.

    Cut Hatch chiles in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Spoon slightly less than 2 tablespoons cream cheese spread into each chile half.

    Place 1 stuffed chile half on shortest side of each triangle. Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point; place each point side down on cookie sheet.

    Bake 17 to 19 minutes or until crescents are deep golden brown.
