Buttons and Bows Tuna Casserole

Here's a quick-to-fix stovetop version of the standard tuna casserole, made with a fun combination of wagon wheel and bow tie pasta. You can also use all one pasta shape, if that's what you have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. (1 cup) uncooked wagon wheel pasta
  • 1 1/2 oz. (3/4 cup) uncooked bow tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (10 3/4-oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6-oz.) can water-packed tuna, drained

Instructions

    Cook pastas to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; return to saucepan.

    Add peas, milk, soup and tuna; mix gently until well combined. Cook over medium heat until peas are tender and mixture is thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. If desired, top with crushed potato chips.
