Ingredients
- 2 cans (14.9 oz each) stout or dark beer
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- Cinnamon sticks, if desired

Step1In 3-quart saucepan, slowly pour beer. When foam subsides, heat over medium-low heat.

Step2Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, heat water, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ginger and cloves to simmering over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir mixture into beer. Cook 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated. DO NOT BOIL. Serve warm. Garnish with cinnamon sticks.
