White Chocolate-Cherry Rice Pudding

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup uncooked instant white rice
- 1 box (4-serving size) white chocolate sugar-free instant pudding and pie filling mix
- Cinnamon sticks, if desired

Step1In 2-quart saucepan, stir 11/2 cups of the milk, the cherries, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step2Meanwhile, make pudding mix as directed on package, using remaining 2 cups milk. Stir prepared pudding into rice mixture. Serve warm. Garnish with cinnamon sticks.
