- 1 (20-oz.) can pineapple chunks in unsweetened juice, drained, reserving 3/4 cup liquid
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry halves, well drained

Step1In small bowl, combine 3/4 cup reserved pineapple liquid and cornstarch; blend well. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add cornstarch mixture and brown sugar; blend well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.

Step2Stir in pineapple and cherries. Cook until thoroughly heated. Serve warm.
