Ingredients
- 6 cups (6 medium) sliced peeled cooking apples
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons maple-flavored syrup

Step1In large saucepan, combine apples, water and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender.

Step2Remove cinnamon sticks. Stir in syrup. Serve over potato pancakes or pancakes.
