Iced Ornament Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Sugar Cookie Dough
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pouch (7 oz) red cookie icing
  • 1 pouch (7 oz) green cookie icing
  • 1 pouch (7 oz) white cookie icing
  • 1/4 cup red and green miniature candy-coated chocolate candies
  • 2 teaspoons red sanding sugar
  • 2 teaspoons green sanding sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Christmas candy sprinkles

    Heat. oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, break up cookie dough. Knead in flour until well blended. (DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER COMBINING WITH FLOUR.)

    On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with floured 3- to 3 1/2-inch ornament-shaped cookie cutter. On ungreased cookie sheet, place cutouts 2 inches apart.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.

    Spread tops of cookies with cookie icing. Decorate with chocolate candies, sanding sugar and candy sprinkles.
