A wonderful family dessert, this crisp adds cranberries to the classic apple recipe.
Cranberry-Apple Crisp

Ingredients
Fruit Mixture
- 5 cups (5 medium) sliced peeled apples
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish. In large bowl, combine all fruit mixture ingredients; toss to coat. Spoon into greased baking dish.

Step2In small bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar and 1/3 cup flour. With pastry blender or fork, cut in margarine until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle topping evenly over fruit.

Step3Bake at 375°F. for 30 to 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender. If desired, serve with ice cream, whipped cream or whipped topping.
