Ingredients
- 1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Chocolate Chip flavored Sweet Biscuits with Icing (8 Count)
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate-flavored melting wafers
- 1/2 cup finely chopped salted peanuts
Instructions
-
Step1In small bowl, mix icing (from can of biscuits) and peanut butter with spoon. Shape into 8 (1 1/4-inch) balls; flatten each into 2-inch round. Set aside.
-
Step2Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit into 4-inch round.
-
Step3Spray waffle maker with cooking spray; heat waffle maker.
-
Step4Place 4-inch round in waffle maker 45 to 50 seconds or until light golden brown. Using fork, remove biscuit wafflette from waffle maker; place 1 flattened peanut butter round on just below center of cooked biscuit wafflette. Immediately fold wafflette in half, using fork to help fold over; press firmly on edge to help seal.
-
Step5Place folded wafflette on cooling rack. Repeat cooking, filling and folding with remaining biscuits.
-
Step6Place waxed paper or cooking parchment paper under cooling rack. Place chocolate wafers in small microwavable bowl; microwave uncovered on Medium (50%) 60 seconds; stir. Continue to microwave and stir in 30-second intervals until just about melted. In small bowl, place chopped peanuts. Dip rounded edge of each wafflette into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip back into bowl, and then dragging on rim of bowl to remove excess. Dip wafflette into chopped peanuts. Place wafflette back on cooling rack. Repeat with remaining wafflettes.
