Strawberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

    Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.

    Unroll dough on work surface. Cut dough into 12 rectangles (2 cuts lengthwise and 3 cuts crosswise). In small microwavable bowl, microwave cream cheese uncovered on High 20 seconds to soften. Spread about 2 teaspoons cream cheese over each dough rectangle to 1/4 inch of edge. Gently spread about 1/2 teaspoon jam over cream cheese. Place about 2 teaspoons strawberries in center of each square; spread slightly.

    Roll up each rectangle, starting with shortest side, and pinch seam to seal. Place on cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with butter, and sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

  • You can use crescent dinner rolls in place of the dough sheets. Just unroll dough, and pinch seams together.
  • Sparkling sugar is in the baking aisle of your grocery store with the cake decorating products. If you don’t have it, regular sugar will work.
