Orange Crème Pinwheels

Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
- Grated peel of 1 medium orange
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Juice of 1 medium orange (1 to 2 tablespoons)
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 375°F.

Step2In small bowl, stir together cream cheese, granulated sugar, orange extract and orange peel. Set aside.

Step3Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spread half of cream cheese mixture on each rectangle. Starting at short side, roll up rectangles. With serrated knife, cut each roll into 8 slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cut sides down.

Step4Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan; cool completely.

Step5In small bowl, stir powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth. (If too thin, add more powdered sugar. If too thick, add more juice.) Drizzle over cooled pinwheels.
