Whether or not you grew up in the Midwest, this classic Tater Tot™ hotdish (otherwise known as a casserole to you non-Midwesterners) is a dinnertime favorite, no matter where you're from. A creamy mix of ground beef, green beans, tater tots and melted cheese, this retro tater tot hotdish recipe delivers hearty comfort food deliciousness.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 bag Ore-Ida™ Tater Tots™ frozen potatoes
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

    Brown beef, drain.

    Mix browned beef, salt, pepper, soup and green beans. Pour in casserole.

    Place Tater Tots™ on top of beef mixture. Then top off with cheddar cheese.

    Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes.

    Serve immediately.
