What goes in easy lemon bars?

While recipes vary widely, typically lemon bars contain flour, white sugar, eggs, salt and often a dusting of powdered sugar. There’s plenty of lemon, of course, though some recipes contain prepared lemon juice and some call for fresh-squeezed. There are even recipes that call for whole lemons! This super easy lemon bars recipe uses refrigerated Pillsbury™ Sugar Cookie Dough.

How do you make easy lemon bars?

Making lemon bars is done in two parts: first preparing and baking the crust and then preparing the lemon filling. Making the crust first ensures that it will not be underbaked (the filling bakes much faster) and that it can support the lemony goodness instead of it soaking in and making a soggy mess. The Easy Lemon Bars recipe makes the crust as simple as can be, so the recipe comes together in no time—and tastes amazing every time!
